While this music draws from many different pools of inspiration, it’s my first body of work that primarily exists under the“singer-songwriter” umbrella. Bringing this project to life was a truly unique experience for me. I had so much fun, all while being consistently humbled and taught many lessons-often lessons that extended beyond music…

What a joy, and often grueling process, it was to work through each layer of these compositions. I’ve come to truly appreciate the vastness and complexity one can encounter when navigating a seemingly ‘simple’ song. I could not have done this without the help of the incredible artists listed below. Thank you, thank you, thank you 🙌🏼💙🫠

I hope you enjoy our rendition of this Steve Winwood classic. Though it’s the only non-original piece on the upcoming album, it’s inclusion felt essential for the dream-like atmosphere it evokes. I’ll never forget the sublime feeling of hearing this song for the first time in high school—its sound and aura have deeply influenced me ever since.

My song “The Escape” has been released into the wild! 🕊️

Singing and songwriting is without a doubt one of the most humbling, grueling, and fulfilling roads one can venture on. I’ve always been most inspired (and intimidated) by this experience, and this album is meant to honor that. I felt this music brewing for a long time and I just wasn’t giving it the time of day — either because I thought it wasn’t good enough, or because it was too different from what I felt was expected of me. But a year ago I’m so happy I decided to trust what felt right and honest at the time by recording these songs. I hope the messages and vibrations in this music reaches the ears of whoever may need it. Here’s to letting go!
